Wed, 01 Feb 2012 21:35:24 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.1 en hourly 1 Chicago Children’s Photographer…Spring Dance http://www.alicias.com/blog/2010/03/chicago-childrens-photographer-spring-dance/ http://www.alicias.com/blog/2010/03/chicago-childrens-photographer-spring-dance/#comments Wed, 10 Mar 2010 16:05:01 +0000 admin http://www.alicias.com/blog/?p=864 Can I just say that having teens is soooo expensive!  I have just spent the past few days shopping with my 2 oldest children for clothing for their spring dance.  My son needed a new suit, shirt, tie, and belt.  My daughter a dress, alterations, shoes, jewelry, and a hair appointment.  Not to mention that the spring dance is officially called the “turnabout dance”.  So that means that we pay for the dance tickets ($40), dinner for my daughter and her date along with a corsage and boutinierre.  Ouch!!!   $1000 later and I’m broke worn out and wishing that I had spread my children out a bit.  Having two children that are 15 months apart is tough on the pocket book.  I guess I better stop whining and get busy working :) . 

Now that I’m finished complaining I guess it wouldn’t be a post without including a picture.  I’m going to include a picture from one of last years spring shoots.  I’m so excited that spring is right around the corner and this picture gets me in the mood.  These girls are just beautiful and I just love the colors and bare little toes.
