I apologize to all of you for not posting sneak peeks of the last few weeks. The sessions have been amazing and my goal was to get them completed and get them posted on the password protected site before I had to leave on vacation. Goal completed! Vacation is over and life is back in swing again. Unfortunately that meant no sneak peeks . I promise to post them when things slow down around here.

Now that things are back on track. I wanted to post a sneak peek of a beautiful expecting Mamma. We had a great time yesterday during our session. Wow did she look beautiful! I certainly do not remember looking this beautiful while I was pregnant (probably because I wasn’t). I guess six months of morning sickness will do that to a person.

Thanks again “L”! I’m really looking forward to meeting your little baby girl. Let’s get her scheduled for her first modeling session .

Hinsdale Chicago Photographer…Best Big Sister

Today I had a fantastic session with little “E” and baby “C”. Baby “C” was the most cooperative baby ever and let me pose her anyway that I would like. Little “E” was such a sweet big sister and just loves her baby “C” so much. Lots of love and kisses between the two them. They are going to be thick as theives when they grow up. Watch out Mom and Dad!!!

Chicago Naperville Children’s Photographer…Millenium Park Trash the Dress Session

This session had to be one of my favorite sessions of all time! The weather in the city was gorgeous, Michigan Avenue was stunning as always, and ooooh how I love spending time with little “E” and “A”. Fun, fun, fun! We spent 4 hours (OK minus 45 minutes of me recharging my camera batteries oops) taking pictures around the city. The girls were loving every minute of it, and me…well of course I was in heaven. The girls started off super white and clean and by the time we finished they were smudged with dirt and messy hair. It just added to the beauty of their session. The girls Mom (“M”) and Dad (“D”) had a fabulous idea of letting the girls “trash” the dresses in the Millennium fountains. It was soooo much fun! The girls had a blast and I was amazed at how many eyes were on these two little beauties. After the session we went upstairs to their gorgeous Michigan ave. condo and ordered sushi. Dinner was spectacular and the company even better. Thank you so much “L” family for your friendship and hospitality! Beautiful day + perfect shoot + fabulous dinner + great friends + wine = PERFECT DAY!!!!!

Naperville Senior Photographer…Senior Portraits Time Again!

Now that the weather is warming up it’s time for senior portraits again. I just love taking senior pictures! They’re so willing, young and cooperative. I love hearing about what they have planned for their future. Aaaghhhh to be young again!

This particular senior is special to me because I just love his Mom ( she’s such a sweetie and good friend) and he just happens to be a cool kid too. We had a beautiful day Saturday so it made for great pictures. Here’s a sneak peek for my friend Jeremy. Go Denver!!!!

Naperville Teen/Senior Photographer…Mother Daughter Time

As my kids get older I’m constantly looking for things for us to do together. Just a little bonding time. Of course it’s easy with my 10 year old because he loves being with me and is willing to try just about anything. My 2 teenagers on the other hand are a little more difficult to please. Doing anything with their mother is just lame (Unless of course I’m spending money on them). I love spending time with them but finding an activity that isn’t torturous for them isn’t always easy. I was so thrilled when my Freshman daughter signed up for Photography classes in high school. It’s so much fun to teach someone your passion especially someone you love. So yesterday was our first photo shoot together and Wow we had fun!! My daughter and her BFF stylized the whole shoot themselves and I selected the location. The girls did a great job and were so creative. I wish that I was my daughters teacher because an A+ would be handed out for creativity and effort. Here are some of the pictures that I took with them. My daughter has to shoot film so we won’t see her results until next week. I can’t wait!!

I am completely in love with these pictures. I just love when everything comes together! The lighting, the wardrobe, the personalities. “B” & “T” did a GREAT job and put up with me and my obsessive shutter snapping .

I had so much fun doing this shoot! The “N” kids were workin’ it like little pro’s. “H” loved his hat and was posing big time. “K” was tipping her head, pursing her lips and looking over her shoulder like the pro she is ! “J” was actually loving the attention too (well until we walked past Gamestop). I think we all had fun and it shows! Thanks “L” for the coffee! The perfect ending to a perfect shoot.

Take a peek at the “B” children! These kids take pride in their sports and wanted to show it off by wearing their uniforms for this years photos. I’ve been doing pictures for the “B” family for years now and this was such a fun idea. Great job Jen!!
